Allegro’s current sensors include fast over-current detection in addition to a precision analog output. Magnetic Speed Sensor ICs

Allegro MicroSystems Magnetic Speed Sensor ICs offer a comprehensive portfolio covering the full range of speed and speed with direction sensor ICs. Allegro MicroSystems 0A to 50A Current Sensor ICs with Integrated Conductor is a fully integrated, high-isolation current sensor solution with very low resistance. The 0A to 50A Current Sensor ICs do not require external isolation components and deliver up to 4800VRMS galvanic isolation.

ACS724 & ACS725 High-Accuracy Current Sensors

Allegro MicroSystems ACS724 and ACS725 High-Accuracy Current Sensors are AEC-Q101 qualified and offer a 5V operation supply voltage and a 120kHz analog output. These sensors are provided in multiple compact packages with a high level of integration that fits various application needs, and they feature a precise, low-offset, linear Hall sensor circuit with a copper conduction path located near the surface of the die. Applied current flows through this copper conduction path, generating a magnetic field sensed by the integrated Hall IC and converted into a proportional voltage. The current is sensed differentially to reject stray fields, improving accuracy in magnetically noisy environments. Allegro MicroSystems ACS724 and ACS725 High-Accuracy Current Sensors are provided in compact, low-profile surface-mount SOIC8 (LC) and custom SOIC16 packages (MA and MC).
