Silent Switcher® Solutions for EMI Compliance

Analog Devices Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) compliance is often mandatory and a critical design challenge for medical, automotive, test, and measurement equipment manufacturers. To overcome these challenges, Analog Devices offers Silent Switcher® Architecture which minimizes the risk of problems caused by EMI, making µModule® Regulators and Discrete DC-DC ideal for noise-sensitive applications.

LT7184S Silent Switcher® 2 Step-Down Regulators

Analog Devices LT7184S Silent Switcher^® 2 Step-Down Regulators are dual-output monolithic PolyPhase DC/DC synchronous step-down regulators that deliver up to 7A of continuous current from both channels simultaneously and support loads from -8A to +9A in either channel. The LT7184S features second-generation Silent Switcher architecture with integrated V_IN bypass capacitors for fast, clean, low-overshoot switching edges to deliver high efficiency at high switching frequencies and minimize Electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions. An I²C-based PMBus 1.3-compliant serial interface enables control of device functions and provides telemetry information for system monitoring.
