KEMET is moving and consolidating production of Electrolytic 
Capacitors from their plant in Suzhou (China) to Evora (Portugal). 
This will be achieved without impact to product form, fit or function 
as the products are equivalent with respect to physical, mechanical, 
quality and reliability characteristics. 

The last production in Suzhou (China) will be by the end of June 2015.

ALC10 Snap-In Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

KEMET ALC10 Snap-In Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors provide high ripple current, high surge voltage capability, and a long life of up to 18,000 hours at +85°C. These snap-in devices are designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring high reliability and long life expectancy. Typical KEMET ALC10 Snap-In AECs applications include frequency converters, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, and switch-mode power supplies (SMPS).

Group Power Conversion Components

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, Pulse, KEMET) designs passive component technologies that are critical in power conversion systems, including safety, snubber, and DC link capacitors; current sense and power resistors; and magnetic components such as transformers, common mode chokes, and inductors. Because every electronic device requires power, a vast majority of these products utilize a form of power conversion or power supply to deliver the required energy. 

Group DC-DC Converters

Group Switch Tank Converter Products

YAGEO Group (KEMET, YAGEO, Pulse) Switch Tank Converter (STC) Products are high-efficiency, high-density converters designed for non-isolated DC-DC applications. These devices operate by replacing the large magnetics typically used in converter designs with stacking voltages using switches and capacitors. The STC products are strategically placed between the input and DC-DC converter stages of the YAGEO group's Digital Architecture Passive Components. As a solution, these STC products take advantage of advanced semiconductor technology to support power supplies.

High-Reliability Snap-In Electrolytic Capacitors

KEMET High-Reliability Snap-in Electrolytic Capacitors are designed for high ripple current and high voltage ratings. The high-reliability snap-in connectors feature good surge voltage capability and long-life performance. These electrolytic capacitors offer ±20% capacitance tolerance at 100GHz/+20°C, and 2000hrs at +85°C or 30,0000hrs at +40°C 0VDC of shelf life. The high-reliability aluminum electrolytic capacitors are available on optimized designs upon request. These electrolytic capacitors from KEMET are ideally suited for frequency converters, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).

Snap-In Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

KEMET Snap-In Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors are available with a wide variety of life and performance options, including long life and high ripple current for demanding alternative energy and industrial applications. These snap-in capacitors feature rated voltages up to 600VDC and temperatures up to +125°C. KEMET optimizes the capacitor construction to offer an application-specific balance between required life, temperature, ripple current, physical size, and cost.

The KEMET ALC Series Snap-in Capacitors are compact, high ripple current snap-in capacitors with excellent surge voltage capability. - The KEMET ALC10 Series Snap-in Capacitors offer an extended long life - 18000 hrs @85ºC - and are suited for industrial and commercial applications demanding high reliability and long life expectancy such as frequency converters, UPS systems, and switch mode power supplies. - The KEMET ALC40 Series Snap-in Capacitors offer long life - for 9000 hrs @ 105ºC - and are suited for high reliability and long life applications such as frequency converters, UPS systems, and switch mode power supplies, but the extended temperature range allows increased ripple currents at lower temperatures. New! KEMET ALC 10 Series Snap-in Capacitors with new sizes and new values.
