9177-600 Plated Through Hole IDC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9177-600 IDC Connectors provide Plated Through Hole (PTH) termination to the PCB. Designed as a high performance solution to hand soldering large gauge wires to a PCB, the 9177-600 PTH IDC Connectors offer robust PCB attachment and high current capabilities. A single contact an handle up to 15A with wire replacement up to 3 times. The KYOCERA AVX 9177-600 PTH series can replace older technology connectors or in most cases soldering stripped wires directly to the PCB. The simple, robust design meets the requirements of rugged power-type boards that handle larger wire gauges up to 12AWG and 15A per contact of current. Applications include industrial pumps, motors and driver boards, solar and alternative energy products, and commercial electrical equipment.

Wire-To-Board Connectors

KYOCERA AVX Wire-To-Board Connectors are an innovative contact solution continuing to drive new technology connectors for connecting discrete wires to a PCB. These cost-effective KYOCERA AVX solutions provide all of the performance and functionality of a full connector system, including low-profile, poke-home, and vertical top-entry models.

IDC Wire-to-Board Connectors

KYOCERA AVX IDC Wire-to-Board Connectors provide a robust, reliable, and efficient method to connect individual wires ranging from 12AWG to 30AWG directly to a PCB. The single contact design can function as a standalone component, providing designers access to IDC technology in an easy-to-use form factor that allows them to bring power and signal to a PCB in a wide range of applications. KYOCERA AVX IDC Connectors are suitable for demanding applications, including solid-state lighting (SSL) and industrial sensors and controls.

9177 Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board IDC Connectors

KYOCERA AVX 9177 Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board Insulation Displacement Connectors (IDC) meet the harsh automotive and industrial market applications for connecting individual wires directly to a PCB ranging from 28AWG to 14AWG. This contact system has been tested to automotive levels of shock, vibration, and temperature cycling to prove their reliability and robustness. The simplicity of inserting a wire into the connector with a small tool allows a wide range of devices to be connected to the PCB without soldering. KYOCERA AVX 9177 Gas-Tight Wire-to-Board IDC Connectors bring power and signal onto the PCB or daisy-chain multiple boards together in a long string. The IDC contact provides a gas-tight connection to the conductor of the wire while the housing grabs the insulation of the wire to provide strain relief in the harshest conditions.
