Clock and Timing Solutions

Microchip Technology Clock and Timing Solutions are an extensive clock and timing product portfolio for complex timing requirements in designs. Microchip's oscillator products offer low-jitter and low-power with Quartz- or MEMS-based resonators. The clock generation line offers online configurability, single-chip, and multiple frequency clock tree solutions. The clock and data distribution product line includes buffers, logic translators, and multiplexers.

DSC1001 Low-Power Precision CMOS Oscillators

Microchip Technology DSC1001 Low-Power Precision CMOS Oscillators are silicon MEMS-based CMOS oscillators. These oscillators offer jitter and stability performance over a wide range of supply voltages and temperatures. Each device operates from 1MHz to 150MHz with supply voltages between 1.8V to 3.3V and temperature ranges up to -40ºC to +105ºC. The DSC1001 incorporates an all silicon resonator robust and nearly immune to stress related fractures, common to crystal-based oscillators. A crystal-less design allows for a higher level of reliability. This feature makes these oscillators ideal for rugged, industrial, and portable applications where stress, shock, and vibration damage quartz crystal-based systems.
