Power Inductors

EPCOS / TDK Power Inductors have a variety of features and benefits, including a temperature range of up to +150°C, high rated current, low DC resistance, a ferrite core construction, suitability for lead-free reflow soldering, AEC-Q200 qualification, RoHS compliance, wide inductance value range, and more. These power inductors are utilized in many applications, including multimedia, automotive electronics, industrial electronics, consumer electronics, DC/DC converters, telecommunications, and more.

Power-over-Coax (PoC) Solutions

TDK Power-over-Coax (PoC) Solutions feature a wide range of inductors suitable for automotive applications. PoC is a practical way to streamline camera wiring in modern vehicles by transmitting both data and power on a single coaxial cable, lowering cable count while improving efficiency and packaging. Because PoC requires inductive filtering to separate power from signal, TDK offers solutions across multilayer, wire-wound, and thin-film technologies to cover a variety of design trade-offs. The broad selection of TDK inductors is categorized by current capacity and communication speed, helping engineers match components to the specific requirements of in-vehicle camera systems.

SLF Fixed Inductors

TDK SLF Fixed Inductors are wire wound ferrite inductors that are designed for power circuits. These inductors have a measuring frequency of 100kHz frequency and tolerance of ±20%. The SLF-H fixed inductors have 0.31A DC current and 1.8Ω DC resistance. These inductors are used in automotive-related equipment such as ECM, airbags, headlights, meters, ABS, and electronic power steering. The SLF-H fixed inductors are also used in application guides (automotive xEV).

Inductors

TDK Inductors are manufactured using state-of-the-art multilayer processing technologies, wire-winding technology, or thin-film technologies. TDK's unique multilayer processing technology provides higher inductance and Q characteristics as well as further miniaturization. The portfolio includes a wide spectrum of filters, SMT inductors, power inductors, transponder coils, and line reactors. These components are designed for use in high frequency, signal, and power circuits. TDK Inductors are ideal for a range of applications, including mobile devices, consumer electronics, solar power inverters, power supplies, onboard chargers, and automobile systems. VLS-EX-H Automotive Inductors

TDK VLS-EX-H Automotive Inductors are magnetic shield-type wound inductors that are compatible with high-density mounting. The series features high magnetic shielding construction, achieved through the use of ferrite magnetic material. The larger current and the lower Rdc are achieved by optimizing the ferrite core figure. The VL-EX-H automotive inductors are AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant. These inductors are ideally suited for engine control modules (ECM), airbags, headlights, anti-lock braking systems (ABS), and other automotive applications. 

VLS Inductors for Power Circuits

TDK VLS Inductors are magnetic shield-type wound devices for power circuits. This low-profile product lineup features maximum heights ranging from 0.8mm to 4.5mm, allowing for different usages. These inductors feature high magnetic shield construction and are compatible with high-density mounting. The VLS-E series is designed for smartphones, tablet terminals, HDDs, SSDs, DVCs, DSCs, mobile display panels, portable game devices, and compact power supply modules. The VLS-E-CA inductors are specially designed for car navigation, car stereo, and car accessory applications. VLS-CX, VLS-EX, and VLS-EX-H inductors achieve larger current and lower Rdc by optimizing the ferrite core figure. VLS-HBX-1 Inductors use a metallic magnetic material and achieve larger current through the metallic magnetic material.

PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications & Solutions

TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions feature TDK's expanded line of ALT series SMD pulse transformers to be used in combination with ACM and MCZ series common-mode filters. These are used in various PoE applications that are compatible with 1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T, 10/100/1000BASE-T, and PoE+ (600mA) standards. PoE is a technology that allows electrical power and data transmission to be carried simultaneously through a single cable versus through a separate power cord and network cable. PoE reduces the number of cables and wires necessary for installation and allows for design flexibility, as device placement no longer relies on the availability of an electrical outlet. PoE is capable of supporting higher transmission speeds while still providing outstanding reliability and meeting compact design targets. TDK PoE - Power over Ethernet Applications and Solutions allow for greater scalability as the number of connected devices and LAN interfaces on each device continues to grow and more electronic components are used in servers and routers, as well as in other network and communication devices.
