Bourns 1420A DC Power Surge Protective Devices (SPDs)

Bourns 1420A DC Power Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) are designed to protect power systems from lightning, transients, and power surges up to rated limits. These Din-Rail mountable SPDs protect DC power systems operating up to 1500V_DC. The 1420A SPDs include high-energy MOV technology with an advanced thermal disconnector (TD+), status indicator, replaceable modular design, and remote signaling capability. These SPDs feature <50μA leakage current, 20kA UL nominal discharge current (15 impulses 8/20μs), and 50kA maximum discharge current (1 impulse 8/20μs). The 1420A SPDs operate within the -40°C to 85°C temperature range and comply with RoHS and UL 1449 standards. Typical applications include DC power systems, photovoltaic systems, and EV charging stations.
