EZ-BoardWare SMT Micro RFI Shield Clips

Harwin EZ-BoardWare SMT Micro RFI Shield Clips are available in various types and can accommodate thicknesses from 0.13mm to 1.0mm. The clips feature edge and corner fixings with low profile and high force styles that allow for easy CAN assembly and removal.

EMC Shielding Solutions

Harwin EMC Shielding Solutions include a range of surface-mount shield clips, compatible shield cans, and spring contacts to solve a variety of EMI/RFI and grounding issues. The SMT components are provided on tape and reel for automated assembly and lowered production costs. Shield cans and clips eliminate the need for manual soldering, simplifying production and increasing reliability. Harwin spring contacts prevent RFI noise and allow for design flexibility when an electrical or grounding connection is needed.

EMC Shield Can Clips

Harwin EMC Shield Can Clips are SMT devices offering a fast solution for assembling RFI shields to PCBs. Combining Shield Clips with Shield Cans eliminates the need for manual soldering, simplifying production and decreasing assembly costs. Clips are secured to the board during reflow, while cans are easily pushed into position during a secondary operation. This process removes the risk of creating hot spots from manual soldering. The clips provide a straightforward and easy-to-use board-level shielding solution, which simplifies rework, testing, and cleaning.
