CAPTIVATE-FR2633 Evaluation Board

Texas Instruments CAPTIVATE-FR2633 Evaluation Board is designed for CapTIvate™ MSP430FR2633 MCU. This simple evaluation board evaluates capacitive touch and proximity sensors through plug-in sensor boards. The MCU board includes a 20-pin female debug connector for debugging the onboard MSP430FR2633 MCU and a 48-pin sensor panel connector for connecting to external capacitive-touch sensors. The Texas Instruments CAPTIVATE-FR2633 evaluation board has a partially filled out BoosterPack™ plug-in module header that enables limited LaunchPad™ and BoosterPack ecosystem support.

MSP430FR263x / MSP430FR253x Ultra-Low-Power MCUs

Texas Instruments MSP430FR263x / MSP430FR253x Ultra-Low-Power Microcontrollers are FRAM-based ultra-low-power MSP microcontrollers that feature CapTIvate touch technology. These are designed for buttons, sliders, wheels (BSW), and proximity applications. CapTIvate technology provides the highest resolution capacitive-touch solution in the market with high reliability and noise immunity at the lowest power. CapTIvate technology supports concurrent self-capacitance and mutual-capacitance electrodes on the same design for maximum flexibility. Using the CapTIvate Design Center, engineers can quickly develop BSW applications with an easy-to-use GUI.
