U187 Midi Unit with DIN Connector

M5Stack U187 Midi Unit with DIN Connector is a channel control and audio synthesis device based on the MIDI interface. The M5Stack U187 features a front switch to toggle between bypass and separate modes. In bypass mode, the left and right MIDI ports are directly connected, while in separate mode, the device operates independently. Both ports support standard 5-pin DIN and 3.5mm headphone connections. The Grove port’s TXD pin is linked to the left MIDI port, and the RXD pin connects to the internal SAM2695 audio synthesizer. This setup allows an external M5 host to monitor or output MIDI signals through the Grove interface while outputting synthesized audio through a 3.5mm headphone jack. This unit is ideal for electronic music production, live performance control, and interactive music installations.
