Specialty & Multi-Component Solution Capacitors

KEMET Specialty and Multi-Component Solution Capacitors offer a 0.01µF to 6.8µF capacitance range and an 18VDC to 630VDC voltage range. These solutions are ideal for numerous applications, including but not limited to DC/DC converters, contact protection, and contact interference suppression. KEMET Specialty and Multi-Component Solutions Capacitors include the F5A, F5B, F5D, F43, MDC, MDS, P409, P410, PMR205, and PMZ2035 series.

P409 Film Capacitors

KEMET P409 Film Capacitors are designed for use in contact protection, contact interference suppression, and transient suppression applications. This series is constructed of metallized paper encapsulated and impregnated in self-extinguishing material that meets UL 94V-0 requirements. The impregnated paper ensures excellent stability and reliability properties, especially in applications with continuous operation. Other features include excellent self-healing properties, good resistance, and high dV/dt capability. KEMET P409 Film Capacitors offer a rated voltage of 275VAC at 50Hz/60Hz with a capacitance range of 0.047µF to 0.47µF.
