The dsPIC33F core is designed to execute digital filter algorithms, high-speed precision digital control loops, and digital audio and speech processing. The dsPIC33F SMPS DSCs provide on-chip peripherals specifically designed for high-performance, digital power supplies. The DSPIC33F DSP family also includes an 8-channel hardware direct memory access (DMA) that allows data transfer between RAM and peripheral while the CPU executes code. The DSPIC33F devices are ideal for high-performance embedded control applications.
