Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX17262 Single-Cell Fuel Gauge IC
Analog Devices MAX17262 Single-Cell Fuel Gauge IC is an ultra-low-power IC that implements the Maxim ModelGauge™ m5 algorithm. This algorithm provides tolerance against battery diversity for most lithium batteries and applications. The MAX17262 fuel gauge IC monitors a single-cell battery pack and supports internal current sensing for up to 3.1A pulse current. This fuel gauge IC offers good performance for batteries with 100mAhr to 6Ahr capacity.The Analog Devices MAX17262 IC automatically compensates for cell aging, temperature, and discharge rate. This fuel gauge IC also provides accurate State-Of-Charge (SOC) in percentage (%) and remaining capacity in milliampere-hours (mAh) over a wide range of operating conditions. The MAX17262 IC offers precision measurement of current, voltage, and temperature. Typical applications include wearables, smart watches, BLUETOOTH® headset cases, health and fitness monitors, medical devices, handheld computers, terminals, home, building automation, sensors, and toys.
