American Bright LED BRM-2508 Infrared Receiver Module is designed for remote control and other applications requiring improved ambient light rejection. This module offers excellent performance even in disturbed ambient light applications and provides protection against uncontrolled output pulses. The BRM-2508 module combines a photo detector and preamplifier in one package. This miniaturized IR receiver module features TTL and CMOS compatibility and excellent shielding against electric field disturbance. The BRM-2508 module also features a low power consumption and an internal filter for PCM frequency. Typical applications include TVs, VTRs, audio equipment, air conditioners, car stereo radios, toys, home computers, and all other equipment requiring remote control.
