Amphenol SGX Sensortech Battery Leakage Detection Sensors feature fast response times, low power consumption, and a watertight housing. These sensor solutions enable a battery management system (BMS) to monitor the safe operation of the battery and send an earlier signal during a thermal runaway warning, giving passengers time to safely exit the vehicle. Amphenol SGX Sensortech Battery Leakage Detection Sensors are available in several variants to detect hydrogen gas (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), ammonia (NH3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), as well as pressure, temperature, and humidity levels.
