Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated MAX97200 Class H DirectDrive® Headphone Amplifiers
Analog Devices IC MAX97200 Class H DirectDrive® II headphone amplifiers are compact, 45mw devices that provide nearly two times greater efficiency than the closest competitive Class G headphone amplifiers. Analog Devices IC MAX97200 Class H headphone amplifiers feature second-generation, dual-mode DirectDrive II technology that saves power by switching between supply voltages. The dual-mode charge pump uses ±0.9V rails when the output signal is small, only switching to ±1.8V supply voltage when more output power is needed. This technology renders a continuous signal without the glitches seen in Class G amplifiers. MAX97200 headphone amplifiers are offered in a tiny, 12-bump wafer level packaging (WLP 1.27mm x 1.65mm) with a small, 0.4mm lead pitch and specified over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperature range. These Analog Devices IC devices are designed for cellular phones, smartphones, VoIP phones, and MP3 players.Features
