Apacer Technology Inc. Industrial SH240-25 Serial ATA Flash Drives are well-balanced solid-state drives (SSDs) featuring a standard form factor and exceptional performance. Designed with a SATA 6Gb/s interface, the SH240-25 fully complies with the current SATA Revision 3.2 specifications and delivers outstanding read/write speeds. Random performance is further enhanced by the integration of DRAM in the internal controller, making it ideal for heavy-load industrial or server operations.
Utilizing 3D NAND technology for higher capacities up to 640GB and providing greater power efficiency than 2D NAND, the Apacer SH240-25 is built with a powerful SATA controller that supports on-the-module ECC and an efficient wear leveling scheme. It also features an LDPC (Low-Density Parity Check) ECC engine and SLC-liteX technology, which supports P/E cycles of up to 100,000 times, extending SSD endurance and enhancing data reliability. Additionally, SH240-25 features a built-in thermal sensor to monitor the SSD's temperature via S.M.A.R.T. commands, preventing overheating. For highly intensive applications, end-to-end data protection ensures data integrity is maintained at multiple points along the data transfer path, enabling reliable data delivery.
In terms of security, SH240-25 offers robust data protection with Advanced Encryption Standard to safeguard against unauthorized access. It also includes numerous advanced features such as flash block management, DataDefender™, ATA secure erase, TRIM, page mapping, device sleep, power-saving modes, DataRAID™, and SMART Read Refresh™.
