Amphenol FCI QSFP/QSFP+ Copper Cable Assemblies
Amphenol FCI Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable (QSFP/QSFP+) Copper Cable Assemblies are designed to meet emerging data center and high-performance computing applications. This high-density cabling interconnect system is capable of delivering aggregate data bandwidths of 40Gb/s, 56Gb/s, and 112Gb/s. The series complies with existing industry standard specifications such as the QSFP MSA and InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA). The QSFP cables support the bandwidth transmission requirements as defined by IEEE 802.3ba, IEEE 802.3bj, Infiniband QDR, FDR, and proposed EDR specifications.The 38-position SMT-mounted edge card connector and cable assembly mating printed circuit card is ideal for higher-bandwidth signal integrity requirements associated with 10Gb/s per channel transmission. The metal EMI cage and the rugged diecast covers on the cable assembly provide proper EMI shielding effectiveness and termination. Passive cable assemblies utilize a copper-based interconnect system for applications with cable lengths up to 6m (10G) and 5m (14G and 28G). The cage offering includes a heat sink and mounting clip for applications requiring module heat dissipation.
