Infineon Technologies WLC1125 Wireless Charging Transmitter ICs

Infineon Technologies WLC1125 Wireless Charging Transmitter ICs are highly integrated, programmable power transmitter controllers that facilitate solutions compliant with the modern Qi standard, enabling higher energy efficiency and faster charging. The WLC1125 supports Qi2.x charging profiles, including the magnetic power profile (MPP), basic power profile (BPP), and extended power profile (EPP).

Additionally, the Infineon WLC1125 Transmitter ICs support proprietary power delivery extensions. The WLC1125 is available with an integrated USB Type-C® Power Delivery (PD) controller and is compliant with the specifications. The devices are programmable wireless power transmitter controllers for 25W charging applications.

The WLC1125 includes integrated gate drivers for the buck-boost and inverter power supplies required for Qi2.x wireless transmitter applications. Furthermore, the ICs support a wide input-voltage range and offer multiple programmable features to create distinct wireless transmitter solutions.

The WLC1125 is a highly programmable wireless power transmitter and integrated USB-PD sink solution with an on-chip 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0 processor, 128KB flash, 16KB RAM, and 32KB ROM that allows for convenient configuration changes for customization and tuning of essential parameters such as FOD. Also, the product incorporates various analog and digital peripherals, including ADCs, PWMs, and timers. The inclusion of a fully programmable MCU with analog and digital peripherals allows scalable wireless transmitter solutions.
