Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ2166B Synchronous Step-down Regulators
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ2166B Synchronous Step-down Regulators are internally compensated, dual, and pulse-width modulated buck converters in QFN-18 packages. These step-down regulators operate from a 2.7V to 6V input voltage (VIN) range and generate an output voltage (VOUT) as low as 0.6V. The MPQ2166B regulators integrate dual, 55mΩ, high-side MOSFETs (HS-FETs) and 20mΩ synchronous rectifiers to achieve high efficiency without external Schottky diodes. These synchronous step-down regulators are ideal for a wide range of applications, including automotive infotainment, clusters, telematics, battery-powered devices, and portable instruments. The MPQ2166B synchronous buck converters can be configured as 2A/2A or 3A/1A output current (IOUT) regulators. These step-down regulators offer full protection features, including cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown. The MPQ2166B regulators employ AEC-Q100 Grade 1 MeshConnect™ flip-chip packages that operate outside of AM radio band.
