Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ3522 Synchronous Step-Down Converters
Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ3522 Synchronous Step-Down Converters provide up to 2A of highly efficient output current (IOUT) with peak current mode control. These synchronous converters offer a 350kHz to 2.5MHz configurable frequency range with an integrated, internal high-side MOSFET (HS-FET) and low-side MOSFET (LS-FET). The MPQ3522 converters operate from 3.3V to 20V input voltage (VIN) range. These converters offer 1μA shutdown current that allows the device to be used in battery-powered applications. The MPQ3522 converters achieve high power conversion efficiency across a wide load range by scaling down the switching frequency (fSW) under light-load conditions. The MPQ3522 converters incorporate an open-drain Power Good (PG) signal that indicates whether the output voltage (VOUT) is within 94.5% to 105.5% of the nominal voltage. These synchronous converters are AEC-Q100 Grade 1 qualified and available in a QFN-12 (2mm x 3mm) package. Typical applications include automotive infotainment, automotive clusters, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), industrial power systems, and Power over Coax (PoC) systems.
