Nexperia NX-xB-GAN Boards

Nexperia NX-xB-GAN Boards are designed for the basic study of the switching characteristics and efficiency achievable with GaN FETs. The circuits of these boards can be configured for synchronous rectification in either buck or boost mode. The NX-xB-GAN boards come in a half-bridge configuration and include gate driver circuits, optimized PCB layout, and test points for easy measurement.

NX-DP-GAN039-TSC Evaluation Board

Nexperia NX-xB-GAN Boards

The NX-DP-GAN039-TSC Evaluation Board enables double-pulse testing of GaN FETs in a top-side Cooled Copper-Clip Package (CCPAK). This board is optimized for low inductance and features onboard current sensing capability to support typical switching performance evaluation. The NX-DP-GAN039-TSC evaluation board can also be configured to support thermal resistance analysis and continuous half-bridge converter operation in buck or boost mode. This board can be paired with a suitable high-power inductor to achieve an output power of up to 5kW at a switching frequency of 100kHz.

NX-HB-GAN039-BSCUL Evaluation Board

The NX-HB-GAN039-BSCUL Evaluation Board provides the elements of a simple buck or boost converter. This enables the basic study of the switching characteristics and efficiency achievable with 650V GaN FETs. This evaluation board features selection jumpers that allow the use of a single logic input or separate high/low level inputs. The high-voltage input and output can operate at up to 400VDC, with a power output of up to 3.5kW.

This evaluation board features selection jumpers that allow the use of a single logic input or separate high/low level inputs. The high-voltage input and output can operate at up to 400VDC, with a power output of up to 3.5kW.

The high-voltage input and output can operate at up to 400VDC, with a power output of up to 2kW.

NX-HB-GAN3R2-BSC Evaluation Board

The NX-HB-GAN3R2-BSC Evaluation Board provides the elements of a simple buck or boost converter. This enables the basic study of the switching characteristics and efficiency achievable with 100V E-Mode GaN FETs. This evaluation board features selection jumpers that allow the use of a single logic input or separate high/low level inputs. The voltage input and output can operate at up to 60VDC, with a power output of >350W.
