Nisshinbo RP514 Switching Voltage Regulators
Nisshinbo RP514 Switching Voltage Regulators are DC/DC buck converters with a battery monitor with ultra-low current and low voltage resistance. The battery monitor divides the input voltage (VIN) into 1/3 or 1/4 and provides the microcontroller's built-in low voltage ADC with buffered voltage without external circuits. Features include reduced space and components and high efficiency. These Nisshinbo switching regulators operate from 1.8V to 5.5V input voltage range. Applications include coin cell-used equipment and Li-ion battery-used equipment, wearable devices, low-power RF modules, low-power CPUs, memory, sensor devices, and an energy harvester.Features
- 0.3μA ultra-low consumption current with the VFM control for DC/DC (1MHz maximum switching frequency)
- 90% high efficiency under light load conditions at 1.8V and 100mA
- Reduces components and space by combining DC/DC and BM into a single chip
- 1.8V to 5.5V input voltage range Suitable for coin batteries and USB ports due to its wide input voltage range
