Phoenix Contact CHARX Connect CCS Vehicle Charging Inlets
Phoenix Contact CHARX Connect Universal CCS (Combined Charging System) Vehicle Charging Inlets are designed for vehicle-side connection of an EV to the charger complying with CCS Type 1 and Type 2 standards. These inlets can receive up to 375A of continuous DC current, which is used in fast-charging environments. The CHARX Connect Universal CCS inlets feature options for 12V or 24V locking actuators and >200MΩ insulation resistance. These inlets also feature a highly accurate temperature sensor technology (Pt 1000) that ensures a high level of protection against overheating.
The CHARX Connect Universal CCS charging inlets with DC conductor cross-sections of up to 120mm2 enable safe HPC charging with 375kW, and in more than 500kW boost mode. These inlets are protected and sealed from dust, water, and dirt with IP6K7 and IP6K5 degrees of protection. These CCS charging inlets are ideal for users who build electric vehicles (passenger vehicles) and special-use equipment (mining machines and snowmobiles).
