Phoenix Contact Vehicle Charging Inlet Covers (VICs) are hinged covers designed for commercial electric vehicles (EVs) to add another layer of protection to the vehicle inlet. These hinged covers are ideal for rugged EV applications or everyday charging, protecting the charging inlet while the vehicle is in use. Phoenix Contact VICs provide comprehensive protection for the entire inlet while remaining easy to use. These vehicle charging inlet products are intended for outdoor EV applications, such as mining, construction, or airport use. The robust, spring-loaded, hinged flaps are easy to open for charging access. When mounted to a vehicle, the covers protect the inlet in demanding environmental conditions. With identical mounting points across different charging standards, the VICs simplify conversion between Type 1 and Type 2 applications. An optional LED status display and a charging stop button let the user monitor and interrupt charging if necessary.
