Qorvo QPA0016 GaN Power Amplifiers

Qorvo QPA0016 GaN Power Amplifiers are high-power Ku-Band MMIC amplifiers made using Qorvo's QGaN15 process. The Qorvo QPA0016 amplifiers operate in the 13.75GHz to 14.5GHz Satcom band, delivering 5W of linear power with third-order intermodulation distortion products of 25dBc. The devices can reach output powers up to 15W with 35dB small-signal gain and 32% power-added efficiency. The operating frequency can be extended from 12.75GHz to 15.35GHz. For easy integration, the devices are fully matched to 50Ω with DC-grounded I/O ports for optimal ESD performance. The QPA0016 amplifiers are suitable for communications and radar applications in commercial and military markets.
