Renesas Electronics RAJ2810024H12HPD Intelligent Power Device (IPD) is engineered to safely and flexibly control power distribution within vehicles, meeting the requirements of next-generation electrical/electronic (E/E) architectures. The module is integrated with a highly accurate current detection function to address abnormal currents such as overcurrent. Because the device detects abnormal currents even at low loads, it allows engineers to build safe and precise power control systems that can detect even the smallest abnormalities. The RAJ2810024H12HPD comes in a small TO-252-7 package to reduce the mounting area by about 40% compared to a typical TO-263 package. The IPD is designed to provide a longer and maintenance-free life than mechanical relays, so it can be placed anywhere in the vehicle.
