SparkFun COM-18708 MicroMod Ethernet Function Board
Sparkfun COM-18708 MicroMod Ethernet Function Board features a W5500 Ethernet control module and an Ag9900m Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) DC/DC converter. These modules are designed to configure a MicroMod assembly as a connected/powered device into an Ethernet network with a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) system. The W5500 Ethernet controller is a TCP/IP embedded controller that uses SPI communication protocol to allow up to eight independent sockets to operate simultaneously. This chip includes a Wake on Lan (WOL) operation and power-down mode to help conserve power. The COM-18708 board offers an Ag9900m converter that powers MicroMod assemblies from a PoE source such as a router or network switch. This Ag9900m converter operates at a 36V to 57V input voltage range, 5V output voltage, and 9W power.Features
