EPCOS / TDK S14, S10, & S07 SIOV Metal Oxide Leaded Varistors
EPCOS / TDK S14, S10, and S07 SIOV Metal Oxide Leaded Varistors are engineered for use in communication systems, household appliances, and power supply units. These high-performance varistors are also ideal for consumer and power metering applications. EPCOS / TDK S14, S10, and S07 SIOV Metal Oxide Leaded Varistors are constructed using a round leaded varistor element, UL 94V-0 flame-retardant epoxy resin coating, and tinned wire terminals. All three variants are RoHS compliant.
The S14 varistors feature a 14mm-diameter disk, 130VRMS to 625VRMS operating voltage range, 4.5kA to 6kA peak surge current range, and 260pF to 440pF capacitance range.
The S10 series offers a 10mm-diameter disk and 130VRMS to 680VRMS operating voltage range. These compact, PSpice-modeled modules provide high surge current ratings up to 2500A and no derating up to an ambient temperature of +105°C.
The S07 devices have a 7mm-diameter disk and 115VRMS to 460VRMS operating voltage range. These compact, PSpice-modeled varistors feature high surge current ratings up to 1200A and no derating up to an ambient temperature of +105°C.
