Texas Instruments LMK5C33216AEVM Evaluation Module (EVM)
Texas Instruments LMK5C33216AEVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is for the LMK5C33216A network clock generator and synchronizer. The evaluation module can be used for device evaluation, compliance testing, and system prototyping. The LMK5C33216A integrates three digital PLLs (DPLLs) and three analog PLLs (APLLs) with programmable loop bandwidth. The evaluation module includes SMA connectors for oscillator inputs, clock inputs, and clock outputs to interface the device with 50Ω test equipment. The onboard TCXO allows the Texas Instruments LMK5C33216A to be evaluated in a free-running, locked, or holdover mode of operation. The evaluation module can be configured through the onboard USB microcontroller (MCU) interface using a PC with TICS Pro software graphical user interface (GUI). The TICS Pro GUI can be used to program the LMK5C33216A registers.Features
- Three digital PLLs (DPLLs) with programmable bandwidths and three fractional analog PLLs (APLLs) for flexible clock generation
- Two reference inputs to the DPLL supporting hitless switching and holdover
- 16 output clocks with outputs driven by BAW that are capable of sub 50fs RMS phase jitter (12kHz to 20MHz)
