Texas Instruments TPA3223EVM Evaluation Module demonstrates the TPA3223 pad-up integrated circuit. The TPA3223EVM is a complete reference design for the TPA3223, ready for evaluation and exceptional listening. The TPA3223 mono HD analog-input, Class-D amplifier provides an efficient operation at full power, idle, and standby. The TPA3223 has closed-loop feedback allowing low distortion across the audio band and delivering excellent sound quality. The TPA3223 operates in AD modulation and drives up to 2 x 200W into 4Ω load or 1 x 400W into 2Ω load.
The TI TPA3223EVM features adjustable gain settings from 20dB to 36dB, allowing flexible input signals with 1Vrms to 2Vrms single-ended/differential analog input interface. The device supports 2 x BTL (stereo) output channel or 1 x PBTL (mono) output channel configurations.

Required Equipment

- Power supply 5A to 14A, 12VDC to 45VDC
- Two 3Ω to 8Ω speaker or resistor loads (make sure that speaker/load is appropriately sized for required wattage output)
- Four speakers, banana cables
- Four XLR or two RCA input cables
- Analog output audio source
