Vishay Semiconductors VS-E7JX0x12-M3/HM3 Gen 7 FRED Pt® Rectifiers are 1200V, 1A or 2A hyperfast rectifiers in a SlimSMA HV (DO-221AC) package. The hyperfast recovery rectifiers are developed explicitly with the optimized performance of forward voltage drop and hyperfast recovery time. The rectifiers have a highly optimized stored charge and low recovery current, minimizing the switching losses and reducing power dissipation in the switching element.

The Vishay VS-E7JX0x12-M3/HM3 Gen 7 FRED Pt Rectifiers offer a planar structure and platinum-doped lifetime control, ensuring superior overall performance, ruggedness, and reliability.

These devices are ideal for use as clamps, snubbers, and freewheeling diodes in flyback aux power supplies, bootstraps, and desaturators for HV MOSFET and IGBT drivers, and high-frequency rectifiers in a cuk and sepic circuit for LED lighting.
