Murata Electronics Type 2DS Wi-Fi module is based on the NXP Semiconductors 88W8801 chipset that supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n with up to 72.2Mbps PHY data rate. This module is supported on the NXP MCUXpresso IDE platform with SDK support for i.MX RT crossover microcontroller units (MCUs). The Type 2DS operates at 2.4GHz frequency, 3VDC to 3.6VDC supply voltage range, and -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range. This module is packaged in a small form factor that facilitates integration into size- and power-sensitive applications.
Typical applications for the Type 2DS Wi-Fi module include IoT, Smart Home, sensor networks, gateways, and NXP MCUXpresso/FreeRTOS applications.
