Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Scores Another Podium Finish at the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring IMSA Race

March 21, 2023 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on their second-place finish for the GTD PRO class in the March 18 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring IMSA Race in Sebring, Florida.

For the entire grueling race, multiple incidents and full course yellow flag conditions kept tensions high. The final two hours saw a three-car pileup that wiped out all three GTP class front runners. Jack Hawksworth, Ben Barnicoat and Kyle Kirkwood piloted the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 in the race, with a finish 3.3 seconds behind the winner to take second place. The No. 12 car, driven by Aaron Telitz, Frankie Montecalvo and Parker Thompson, came in fifth place.

Mouser is again teaming up with Molex to sponsor the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team for the 2023 IMSA season. Mouser previously sponsored the Vasser Sullivan IndyCar team, seeing the opportunity as an inventive way to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies. The Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team’s next stop is the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, California on April 15, followed by seven more races before the season-finale 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans in Atlanta, Georgia on October 14.
