Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Formula E Team Scores Podium Finish in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia
January 30, 2024 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team on their first podium of Season 10. Driver Jean-Éric Vergne showcased an impressive performance and claimed second place in round 2 of the FIA Formula E Championship on January 26, around the historic streets of Diriyah. Vergne also picked up his 16th pole position in the qualifying session, equaling the all-time Formula E record.
Day two of the doubleheader also got off to an exciting start, with both DS PENSKE drivers putting in excellent performances on January 27. In round 3, Stoffel Vandoorne crossed the finish line to secure his best finish of the season, fighting fiercely the entire race to take the checkered flag in fifth position. Vergne also had a strong pace and finished eighth place in round 3. The weekend's races advanced the team to second in the team standings, and two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne maintains third place in the drivers' standings.
