Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Heads to Motor City for IMSA Detroit Grand Prix

May 28, 2025Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is gearing up to support the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team as they continue the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season in Detroit, Michigan. The Detroit Grand Prix is set for Saturday, May 31, and the weekend will start on Friday, May 30, for practice and qualifying.

The Detroit Grand Prix will take place on the Detroit Street Circuit, which is 1.7 miles in length and has nine turns. In the heart of downtown and weaving in and out of some of Detroit's most famous buildings, the race is sure to provide an exciting 100 minutes. The Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team earned a double Top 5 finish at the 2024 Detroit Grand Prix and is looking to keep the momentum going in the Motor City. For the 2025 Detroit Grand Prix, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship features only the GTD PRO class. Drivers Aaron Telitz and Jack Hawksworth will co-pilot the No. 14 Lexus entry in the Detroit race, while Parker Thompson and Frankie Montecalvo will team up in the No. 15 entry.

After Detroit, the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team will be headed to Watkins Glen for the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen on June 22.
