Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Looks for Another Win in California

May 8, 2023 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the authorized global distributor of the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, is excited to cheer on the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on May 12, 2024, at the Motul Course De Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA.

The track at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is 2.238 miles in length and is home to the world-famous corkscrew. The corkscrew's elevation change makes it a one-of-a-kind turn in motorsports. In a distance of just 450 feet, the elevation drops 59 feet and continues to drop another 100 feet in the following three turns, the equivalent of more than a five-story drop. Located less than 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean in the town of Monterey, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca attracts visitors from around the globe. Coming off the victory at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team will be looking for another win in California before heading back east.

The 2024 season marks the sixth season Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. The full-time driver lineups for Vasser Sullivan Racing include Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 in the GTD PRO class, with Parker Thompson and Frankie Montecalvo co-driving the No. 12 Lexus entry in the GTD class. Kyle Kirkwood and Aaron Telitz join the driver pairs in the No. 14 and 12 cars for select IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance races this season.
