Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Team Earns Another Podium Finish at IMSA Northeast Grand Prix

Drivers Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat piloted the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 PRO to the team’s sixth podium spot of the season.

July 20, 2022Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on their exciting third-place finish in the GTD PRO class at this past weekend’s Northeast Grand Prix. Drivers Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat piloted the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 PRO to the team’s sixth podium spot of the season. Additionally, Frankie Montecalvo nabbed his second-consecutive pole position in the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 car and went on to lead the GTD class for 114 total laps.

Mouser has teamed up with Molex LLC to sponsor the No. 12 and No. 17 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO Class entries for the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Team drivers for the season include Hawksworth, Barnicoat and Kyle Kirkwood in the No. 14 and No. 17 cars and Montecalvo, Townsend Bell, Richard Heistand, and Aaron Telitz in the No. 12 car.

Next, the championship continues at the IMSA Sportscar Weekend at Road America, followed by the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR, and the finale at Motul Petit Le Mans, September 28–October 1 in Atlanta.
