October 9, 2024 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, is ready to cheer on the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on October 12 for the final race of the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season in Atlanta, Georgia at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the Motul Petit Le Mans.

This final race of the season will be a 10-hour long competition, which is the third longest of the entire season, only behind the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring. Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is 2.54 miles in length and has 12 turns, including a downhill, diving curve at turn 12, and the famous "esses" between turns three and five. Said to be one of the best road courses in the entire world, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta first opened in 1970. The track sits on 750 park-like acres in Northeast Georgia and sees over 320,000 visitors a year from across the globe.

The 2024 season marks the sixth season Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. Vasser Sullivan Racing's full-time driver lineups include Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 Lexus RC F GT3 in the GTD PRO class, with Parker Thompson and Frankie Montecalvo co-driving the No. 12 Lexus entry in the GTD class. Kyle Kirkwood and Aaron Telitz have joined the driver pairs in the No. 14 and 12 cars for select IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance races this season.

Heading into the final weekend of the 2024 season, the No. 14 car sits in fourth place in the GTD PRO class standings, and the No. 12 car is in tenth place in the GTD class standings.

Mouser and valued manufacturer partner Molex co-sponsor the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team, seeing the opportunity as an inventive way to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies.
