Infineon Technologies' OptiMOS 6 150V Power MOSFETs, Now Available at Mouser, Offer Unparalleled Efficiency and Reliability

The OptiMOS 6 Power MOSFETs feature industry-leading on-state resistance (RD_S(on)), improved switching performance, and excellent EMI behavior. With low switching losses, the 150V family delivers exceptional efficiency, power density, and reliability for server power supply units (PSU), solar optimizers, high-power USB chargers, and telecommunication infrastructure. Improved conduction losses benefit motor inverters in e-forklifts and light electric vehicles (LEVs).

The Infineon OptiMOS 6 150V Power MOSFETs, now available at Mouser, offer up to 41% lower RD_S(on), 20% lower FOM_g, and 17% lower FOM_gd compared to the previous generation, OptiMOS 5. A faster and softer body diode lowers reverse recovery charge (Q_rr) by up to 59% and reduces overshoot and ringing. The OptiMOS 6 150 V Power MOSFETs also feature high avalanche ruggedness and a maximum junction temperature of +175°C, ensuring robust and stable operation in demanding environments.

With a wide package portfolio, the OptiMOS 6 150V Power MOSFETs meet the stringent requirements of high- and low-switching frequency applications. The devices are designed to meet the requirements of drives and switched-mode power supply (SMPS) applications. They are offered in D²PAK 3-pin, D²PAK 7-pin, TO-220, TOLL, TOLT (for top-side cooling), and SuperSO8 package options for design flexibility. The OptiMOS 6 150V MOSFETs meet the Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) 1 standard, are halogen-free, and are RoHS compliant.
