The 9159-800 connectors are a reliable connectivity solution for home automation applications, industrial manufacturing, white goods, infotainment systems, and automotive body electronics.
The KYOCERA AVX 9159-800 dual entry card edge connectors, now available at Mouser, feature high-strength beryllium copper compression contacts with a one-millimeter reduced pitch, resulting in a small-form-factor, vertical-edge connector. This unique design allows the mating board to be connected from either side of the board (top or bottom entry). The 9159-800 series is available with four to 20 contacts. The edge connectors have an above-board height of just 3.5mm — ideal for applications with limited space — and are easy to install without soldering.
The 9159-800 dual entry card edge connectors, which support currents of up to 2A per contact, are rated for up to 150VAC (RMS) or DC equivalent voltage and offer 50-cycle durability. With low contact resistance, the edge connectors perform reliably in harsh environments, such as industrial sensors and automation equipment. The 9159-800 connectors have an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +125ºC, a storage temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, and are UL and RoHS compliant.
