Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Celebrates Another Podium Finish at IMSA Northeast Grand Prix

July 24, 2023 - Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on their exciting second-place finish in the GTD PRO class in Saturday's IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race at Lime Rock Park. Drivers Jack Hawksworth and Ben Barnicoat piloted the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 PRO to their sixth podium spot of the season, including an impressive double First Place win at Watkins Glen. With this race, the driver duo extended their GTD PRO championship lead to 151 points with four races remaining this season.

Hawksworth ran in second for most of his driving stint. Barnicoat then jumped into the No. 14 Lexus during a green-flag pit stop for the final stint of the race and quickly made his way back to the second position. In the closing minutes of the race, Barnicoat pressured the race-winner and held off a third-place competitor to earn the runner-up result.

The season continues August 3 - 6, with the IMSA Sportscar Weekend at the historic Road America Park in Plymouth, WI. Two more races follow before the season wraps up at the Motul Petit Le Mans in Atlanta on October 14.
