The HRP(G) series is a high-end enclosed-type industrial power supply designed with a double-sided layout PCB to provide engineers with a complete industrial power supply featuring a suite of extended peak power control functions for industrial automation, mechanical and electrical equipment, emergency lighting systems, test and measurement instruments, laser-related machines and more.
The MEAN WELL HRPG-1000N3 series, available from Mouser, offers stable power in harsh industrial vibration or ambient temperature applications (up to +70°C) while also offering 320% peak power for higher wattage inductive or capacitive load applications requiring higher startup power without requiring additional wattage. These single-output AC/DC devices provide a high efficiency of >94%, a wide input voltage range of 90 to 264 volts, and different outputs with 2, 24, 36, and 48-volt models for a variety of industrial equipment while offering identical mechanical dimensions as the previous HRP(G) series, making replacement upgrades easy.
MEAN WELL HRPG-1000N3 1000W ultra-high peak power supplies are cooled by a built-in fan with speed control and include auxiliary power, remote sense, and remote on-off control for related monitoring functions that can be used in combination with human-machine interface or automation control. The new HRP(G)-150/300/600/1000N3 series complies with UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 certification so that it can be operated with various mechanical or electronic equipment such as robotic arms, motor loads, coffee machines, emergency bus lighting systems and more.
