Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Team Turns Focus to IMSA Northeast Grand Prix

July 12, 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, proudly sponsors the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team and will be cheering them on in the ninth race of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season at the FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix in Lakeville, Connecticut, on July 16.

Mouser is teaming up with Molex LLC to sponsor the No. 12 and No. 17 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO Class entries for the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Team drivers for the season include Jack Hawksworth, Kyle Kirkwood and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 and No. 17 cars and Townsend Bell, Richard Heistand, Frank Montecalvo and Aaron Telitz in the No. 12 car.

The 2022 season marks the fourth season Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. During that time, the Lexus RC F GT3 has earned seven GTD class wins, 18 podiums and nine pole positions.

Next, the championship continues at the IMSA Sportscar Weekend at Road America, followed by the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR, and the finale at Motul Petit Le Mans, September 28–October 1 in Atlanta.
