Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Team Nears IMSA Season End with Race in Virginia

August 23, 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, proudly sponsors the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team and will be cheering them on in the penultimate race of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season at the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR in Alton, Virginia, on August 28.

Mouser is teaming up with Molex LLC to sponsor the No. 12 and No. 17 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD Class and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 GTD PRO Class entries for the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. Team drivers for the season include Jack Hawksworth, Kyle Kirkwood and Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 and No. 17 cars and Townsend Bell, Richard Heistand, Frank Montecalvo and Aaron Telitz in the No. 12 car.

The 2022 season marks the fourth season Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. During that time, the Lexus RC F GT3 has earned seven GTD class wins, 18 podiums and nine pole positions.

Next, the team travels to Braselton, Georgia — just outside Atlanta — for the season finale race at the Motul Petit Le Mans on October 1.
