Mouser Now Shipping TE Connectivity’s Mezalok High-Speed Low-Force XMC Connectors for Rugged Applications
July 6, 2022 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, now stocks Mezalok High-Speed Low-Force (HSLF) XMC connectors from TE Connectivity (TE). Designed specifically for mezzanine applications, the Mezalok HSLF XMC connectors meet qualification requirements of legacy Mezalok high-speed connectors, with significantly reduced mating and unmating force.
TE’s Mezalok HSLF XMC connectors, available from Mouser Electronics, are capable of data rates up to 32 Gbps, offering improved signal processing for embedded computing interconnects in mezzanine applications. The connectors feature a reduction in required mating and unmating force—by 32% and 47%, respectively—and meet robust standards listed in VITA 47 and VITA 72.
The connectors make installation and upgrades easier with a variety of positions and stack heights. The connectors are available with 60 or 114 positions in six-row configurations, with stack height options of 10 mm and 12 mm. Additionally, the 114-position connector is compliant with VITA 61.
Mezalok HSLF XMC connectors feature a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and a VITA 42.3 pinout for enhanced thermal stability that enables reliable solder joints. The connectors are ideal for aerospace, ground vehicle, marine, missile defense, and other ruggedized applications.
