Sensirion’s SFM3119 Digital Mass Flow Meter Now Shipping from Mouser

Sensirion SFM3119 digital flow meter features a sixth-generation silicon sensor chip and provides a temperature-compensated flow measurement. This device is designed for accurate mass flow measurement of air, oxygen, and non-aggressive gases in ventilators. A specially designed flow channel provides a low-pressure drop through the flow body of the sensor, making it ideal for medical ventilation and respiratory applications. The meter is based on Sensirion's patented CMOSens® technology, which combines a thermal sensor element, signal processing, and digital calibration on a single microchip for fast signal processing.
Applications for the meter include ventilation, anesthesia, inspiratory flow sensing, and gas mixing.
