The high-accuracy comparators feature a low 2.5-µA quiescent current and are ideal for space-critical, low-power designs such as portable or battery-powered electronics, lithium-ion battery monitoring, current and voltage sensing, point of load regulators, and AC and DC power supplies.

TI's TLV4021 and TLV4041 comparators, available from Mouser Electronics, offer precision threshold accuracy of 1 percent and a propagation delay as low as 360 ns, helping to reduce latency and respond quickly to fault conditions. Enabling design flexibility, both devices offer a non-inverting input, while the TLV4021 features an open-drain output stage, and the TLV4041 features a push-pull output stage.

The comparators' ultra-small, 0.73 × 0.73 mm DSBGA package enable engineers to design smaller, simpler and more integrated systems while maintaining high performance. Additionally, pairing either comparator with the INA185 current-sense amplifier produces one of the smallest, highest-performing overcurrent detection solution in the industry.
