Qorvo QPF1002Q Automotive Front End Module (FEM)

Qorvo QPF1002Q Automotive Front End Module is optimized for C-V2X (Cellular Vehicular-to-Everything) systems. C-V2X systems sense the environment, enabling next-generation autonomy and real-time monitoring in connected cars. C-V2X does this by using the low-latency direct transmission in the 5.9GHz Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) band.

The QPF1002Q integrates a 5GHz power amplifier (PA), Tx/Rx antenna switch, and a bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA) into a single unit. The device features a 5.77GHz to 5.925GHz frequency range with a 28dB Tx gain, a 13dB Rx gain, and a low 2.6dB noise figure. Performance is focused on optimizing the PA for a 5V supply voltage that conserves power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading-edge throughput. The receive path is pinned out for flexibility to enable external filtering or LNA.

The Qorvo QPF1002Q Automotive FEM is housed in a compact 5.0mm x 4.0mm x 0.925mm laminate package and is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified for use in automotive applications.
