TDK PHU PiezoHapt Ultra-Thin Actuators

TDK PHU PiezoHapt Ultra-Thin Actuators feature a maximum thickness of 0.35mm and a response time of only 4ms. These actuators provide haptic feedback with low driving voltage. Haptics is a technology that transmits information through skin sensory feedback such as force and vibration. TDK PiezoHapt actuators have an unimorph design consisting of a multilayer piezo element bonded to one side of a vibration plate. These devices produce a variety of vibration patterns and are available in footprints of 30mm x 15mm or 80mm x 60mm (vibration plate). PiezoHapt actuators are ideal for providing haptic feedback in smartphone and tablet displays, gaming consoles and controllers, and wearable devices.
